This September, launching at her Spring 2012 show during New York Fashion Week, PROPER ATTIRE® condoms and Rebecca Minkoff collaborate to create a new standout accessory. Minkoff, the leading independent accessories designer in the U.S., is a much-reveredstyle maker, whose subtle, edgy designs are favored by women across the world. Applying the same casual-luxe aesthetic from her collections to the PROPER ATTIRE® packaging design, Minkoff says, "I loved the idea of designing a condom that was made by a woman for a woman. I got to use my classic studded Rebecca Minkoff design and apply it to the packaging, making a condom that girls can feel comfortable carrying with them," said Minkoff. Rebecca Minkoff launched in 2001 with a five-piece apparel line and has quickly grown to become the number-one independent accessories designer in the United States. In 2009 she was honored as a New York Moves Power Woman for her entrepreneurial success in the fashion industry, and in 2010 was admitted into the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA).
Rebecca Minkoff joins the likes of designers Vena Cava, Charlotte Ronson, Alexander Wang, Brian Reyes, Jeremy Scott, and Yigal Azrouël, who have all collaborated on collections for the condom brand.
